WINTON-SALEM and NEW YORK, October 18, 2010 - Former U.S. Marine, Tammie Davis, now up and coming Nashville Recording Artist and songwriter from North Carolina has been invited to perform at ‘First at Friar’s’ Showcase held at the famous New York City Friar’s Club. “This event is dedicated in showcasing the best singers, songwriters, musicians and comedians out there,” says ‘First at Friar’s’ show coordinators. Presented by The Friar’s Club, the shows are being produced and hosted by multiple award-winning writer, producer, director and Friar, Cory Rosenberg. Davis will perform at the November 9th showcase. The ‘First at Friar’s’ showcases are not open to the public and are by invitation only.
In May of 2010, Davis released her first single ‘Tall Dark and Lonesome’ to national radio which spent thirteen weeks on the Music Row Charts.
