It's been a pretty busy day. I should have gotten up at the crack of dawn but I'm a night owl....go figure. Had lunch with my Attorney, Michael Wells Jr today. We talked about his blog and how he's starting to get a lot more traffic lately, very awesome. He blogs about some pretty interesting legal matters so it's a great way to stay in touch with law and legal matters. Attorney Wells helps me with legal matters and gives advice on contract verbiage, something that I recommend to all up and coming artists and musicians out there. I've learned that you have to create the best possibility and opportunities with whatever contract you sign. You don't want to pass up a good opportunity but you also don't want to get stuck in something that will hurt you in the long-run. I'm not hell bent on signing a Record Label Deal, I AM hell bent on signing the RIGHT Record label Deal.
Got a call from my good friend, Avesta, today. Looks like I'll be back at ACE Speedway on Sept 5th - just waiting on the confirmation call. Thanks Avesta for thinking about me. I have such awesome supporters. All the people that repost my stuff on FB and tell their friends about me, I can't do this without them. Well, I guess its back to the drawing board for the rest of the day. Planning some new set lists and I'm looking forward to rehearsal with John tonight doing some new acoustic songs. Love you all and hope to see you at a show this week.
